Job Summary:

 

Atkins is seeking a Microsoft Unified Communications Engineer to join our UC Operations team part of the Global Network Operations Centre (NOC). NOC comprises of teams supporting UC Operations, Network Operations, Network Security Operations and Infrastructure Operations. Successful candidates should have the knowledge and skills required for installing, managing and supporting environments that include Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange/ O365, and Yammer.

 

Job Details (Required Skills):

 

  • The candidate should have minimum 6+ years of overall experience SharePoint server administration / support experience on SharePoint 2010/2013.
  •  The job will require in-depth troubleshooting of SharePoint related server side issues, installation and configuration of new SharePoint servers, backup and recovery of SharePoint portal servers. The candidate must have handled medium to large SharePoint server farms.
  • The candidate should be familiar with all the functionalities/features of SharePoint 2010/2013 like Info path services, excel services, document libraries etc.
  • Yammer administration and support experience
  • Microsoft Exchange 2013 and Exchange Online migrations experience will be added advantage
  • Very strong in ITIL Processes.
  • Independently solve most of the Complex issues on Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013
  • Flexible, self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure in an International and culturally diverse organization.
  • Should be able to identify potential capacity issues in the environment and able to mitigate quickly
  • MCTIP on Microsoft SharePoint 2010 / MCSE on Microsoft SharePoint 2013
  • Additional Microsoft Infrastructure Experience (Exchange, SQL, etc)
  • Scripting skills, particularly in PowerShell and SharePoint portal customizations
  • Understanding of 24x7 IT support model and Good exposure to ITIL framework including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Release Management and Configuration Management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are the must. Flexible and adaptable to meet the team needs.
