Vice President, Supply Chain Management

Location: Mississauga, Ontario

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Nuclear Canada the VP, Supply Chain Management is responsible for leading AtkinsRealis/ Candu Energy’s [“CEI”] enterprise supply chain function. Working collaboratively with the key stakeholders - customers, internal project teams, CEI’s supply & contractor base, indigenous engagement & executive management – the VP, Supply Chain Management will champion the development of the supply chain function in alignment with the Company’s present needs as well as strategic growth objectives and priorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads the enterprise supply chain organization responsible for the procurement of all engineered equipment, goods, tools and services while working constructively with all impacted stakeholders (projects, operations, clients, vendors, finance, continuous improvement & risk, HSE).

• Develops an organizational structure, digital strategy, strategic sourcing & category management program considering the future of new nuclear, new & existing projects as well as supporting clients’ ongoing operational & maintenance programs.

• Responsible for CEI’s transactional and strategic interface with the Company’s current and future vendor base; includes development of a net new supply and contractor base to meet CEI’s growth objectives.

• Oversight of the organization responsible for being the primary point of contact for all strategic supply or contractor agreements CEI is engaged in.

• Accountable for the development and execution of the Company’s logistics strategy including oversight of Import/ Export controls.

• Responsibility for the Procurement Quality function and its interface and the Vendor base.

• In conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, oversees and measures Supply Chain risk and uncertainty with strategic mitigation & implementation plans.

• Marketing, networking, and negotiating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Accountable for high level strategies to drive efficiencies in the nuclear supply chain, including but not limited to monitoring & reporting of meaningful Key Performance Indicators, scorecards and dashboards.

• Demonstrated leadership in major operational and project Supply Chain roles.

• Effective communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity skillset.

• Ability to oversee and coordinate large teams and work in a highly matrixed organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Post-secondary education, and

• Post-graduate degree or designation (LLB, MBA, CFA, CPA)
