Civil Engineers – Water, Ground and Environment opens up all kinds of possibilities for civil engineers. You could develop your skills in energy generation, waste management and urban development and regeneration. You could help to build dams, tunnels or river and coastal defences. Or you could enjoy a rewarding career in water utilities or geotechnics.
Electrical Engineers – Our electrical engineers design a variety of sophisticated electrical control systems solutions for our water industry customers. We also collaborate with colleagues across Atkins, supporting projects in sectors that range from nuclear, oil and gas to highways, transport and rail.
Who we’re looking for
Talented graduates with a 2.1 degree or above in a relevant engineering or science subject or equivalent - ideally accredited by the appropriate institution
Ideally a Masters in a Civil or Electrical Engineering related subject
Confident working on your own initiative and as part of multidisciplinary teams
A good communicator who can collaborate with a variety of colleagues and become a trusted client adviser
Someone who can analyse problems, create innovative solutions and make sound decisions in a competitive and commercial environment
Keen attention to detail and the drive to keep on learning
