What are your entry requirements?
We ask for a sound technical background in a relevant degree. Requirements may vary depending on the vacancy so refer to the job description for the role you are interested in to see if you meet the requirements.
These are some basic criteria that all candidates must meet:
- You should already have, or be about to graduate in, a relevant degree
- You should have obtained, or expect to obtain, a 2:1 or above (or equivalent - 60% or above) degree classification in a relevant degree
- You must have no more than two years' relevant work experience post-graduation.
Can I submit more than one application?
No. Please submit one application per recruitment cycle and you will be considered for all relevant positions. Duplicate applications will be automatically withdrawn.
What is the selection process?
Please visit the selection process page for more information.
What degree disciplines do you recruit onto the programme?
All graduate vacancies are listed on our website and the relevant information can be accessed through the ‘Apply Now’ links you will see throughout the graduate pages. The disciplines will vary each year depending on business needs.
For our September 2015 intake, we are currently recruiting for civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural graduates.
What sectors do your graduates work in?
Graduates starting in September will be working in our infrastructure, rail and property business.
Historically we have recruited graduates mainly into infrastructure (civil) and rail (civil, architecture and MEP). We have also taken graduates into property (landscape architecture, architecture, structures, building services, environmental), Faithful+Gould (quantity surveying) and defence (communications).
Where are your offices in the Middle East region?
We have offices throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. (See our locations.) Currently we have graduates in our Doha, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Manama and Muscat offices.
When is the next graduate intake for the Middle East?
We're currently looking for graduates to join us in September 2015 and spring 2016.
Do you employ graduates who need a residence permit?
We try to organise and fund residence permits for staff joining our Middle East business. However, we must meet the requirements of the Ministry of Labour in each of the countries in which we operate so there are some nationalities for which we are unable to do this. The list of these nationalities does change so we check with the Ministry throughout the selection process.
What do I do if I have a disability or learning difference which may affect my performance during the selection process?
It is your responsibility to make us aware of any disability of learning difference you may have and you can do this via your application form and before completing the online tests. We will make appropriate arrangements for you if you are invited to interviews.
Do you offer internships or work experience?
