How does your work benefit the end user?

My role is to develop business first and foremost. I highlight services and benefits of these services within the Utility Solutions practice. The end user experiences less hassle by using our experienced team and our deliverables are consistent, clear and effective to advance projects without delay. Our service is focused around safety but also provides users with vital knowledge early on in the project lifecycle.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?

Winning work as part of large bids or providing a missing link for high value infrastructure projects gives me an adrenaline rush. As multiple large infrastructure projects continue, our work pipeline remains strong. Working together with members of my team to win and deliver key bids is exciting.

What has been the most influential moment in your career?

Securing and maintaining business to various consulting firms have enabled my business practice to be involved in large infrastructure projects over the past three years – spearheaded by landmark rail projects and windfarms. This has led to my development as a competent bid manager. It has also provided me with a spring board to win more work with major infrastructure projects in the UK and to work towards membership of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
