L’équipe Portuaire et maritime, dans le cadre de sa pratique en génie civil à Québec, se spécialise dans la fourniture d'une gamme complète de services d'ingénierie pour les projets d'infrastructures maritimes destinés aux clients locaux, nationaux et internationaux. Les projets vont des petites inspections locales et des analyses de charge structurelle aux grands projets d'infrastructures multidisciplinaires CAPEX.
Votre rôle au sein de l’équipe
Au sein de l’équipe portuaire et maritime, vous relèverez du directeur portuaire & minier - Canada Est et vous aurez à :
Établir des liens avec les clients sur les projets existants et rechercher de nouvelles opportunités de projet ;
Analyser, concevoir et évaluer des structures maritimes, notamment celles déjà existantes et analyser leur capacité de charge
Fournir un leadership et une orientation aux ingénieurs juniors et/ou aux techniciens ;
Préparer et gérer la portée, le calendrier et les finances du projet ainsi que les livrables écrits tels que des rapports, des notes et spécifications techniques et des documents d'appel d'offres pour les travaux maritimes, et s’assurer de l’exactitude et de la conformité de la documentation du projet
Élaborer des options conceptuelles, des conceptions préliminaires et des esquisses d'ingénierie pour étayer les études de faisabilité ;
Coordonner le développement des dessins avec d'autres membres du personnel technique et effectuer des examens de dessins ;
Réaliser des inspections sur site pour les structures existantes et les projets de construction en cours ;

L' ingénieur(e) en structures portuaires et maritimes recherché(e)
Détient un diplôme de premier cycle ou de troisième cycle en génie civil ou en génie des structures d'une institution reconnue ;
Est membre de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (ing.) ou éligibilité à l'inscription ;
Possède un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans la conception d'infrastructures maritimes ;
S'exprime aisément dans les 2 langues officielles du Canada (Français et Anglais) - communication écrite et orale* ;
Connaît les logiciels d'analyse structurelle tels que STAAD Pro, SAP2000 ou similaire ;

Within our Ports & Marine team, as part of our civil engineering practice in Quebec, we specialize in providing a comprehensive range of engineering services for maritime infrastructure projects for local, national, and international clients. Our projects range from small local inspections and structural load analysis to large multidisciplinary CAPEX infrastructure projects.
Your Role within the Team:
As a member of the Ports & Marine team, you will report to the Ports & Marine Director - Eastern Canada and be responsible for:
Building relationships with clients on existing projects and seeking new project opportunities.
Providing leadership and guidance to junior engineers and/or technicians.
Analyzing, designing, and evaluating maritime structures, including existing structures and assessing their load-bearing capacity.
Preparing and managing project scopes, schedules, and finances, as well as delivering written deliverables such as reports, technical notes and specifications, and tender documents for marine works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project documentation.
Developing conceptual options, preliminary designs, and engineering sketches to support feasibility studies.
Coordinating drawing development with other technical staff and conducting drawing reviews.
Conducting on-site inspections for existing structures and ongoing construction projects.

The ideal Ports & Marine structural engineer
Holds an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering or structural engineering from a recognized institution;
Is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (Professional Engineers Order of Quebec) or eligible for registration.
Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the design of maritime infrastructure.
Speaks fluent English & French in written and oral communication skills.
Is proficient in structural analysis software such as STAAD Pro, SAP2000, or similar.
