Working in a multi-discipline team of engineers & architects, providing a professional design service to our clients, this is a great opportunity for professionals to gain technical exposure within an internationally renowned consultancy.

Current and forthcoming projects include concept through to detailed design of complex healthcare, education, mixed use, office, retail, residential & hospitality facilities in India, Middle East and around the world.

Job Detail

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to the following:

Perform packages assigned independently with minimum guidance from the seniors in the discipline.
Applies professional knowledge and experienced judgement, but refers to more senior staff for more complex matters
Develop detailed designs from the schematic designs for large projects and schematic for small to medium projects.
Shall check the work carried out by graduate engineers/CAD technicians in their project.
Able to present their technical work and that of their team on the project.
Shall ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned tasks between all the disciplines.
Managing oneâs own time and time of others reporting to them.
Responsible for compliance with Atkins QA/QC procedures and implementation of procedures.
Keep abreast of latest trends and technologies.

Mandatory Requirements:

Bachelorâs degree in Civil engineering from a recognised Institute with a minimum of 6 years of industry experience or Masters in Structural engineering from recognised institute with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
Have sound understanding of finite element analysis and shall be proficient in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE and other analysis softwareâs.
In addition to proficiency in Indian standards, shall have working knowledge of atleast one of the international codes of practice such as British, American, IBC etc.

Desirable Requirements:

Experience of working on international standards is an added advantage.
Professional membership of institutes such as IStructE, ICE and working towards chartership.
Working Knowledge of softwareâs such as AUTOCAD, Revit structures.
