Business Improvement Analyst

We are part of a consortium including Atkins and Egis Road Operations UK – creating Connect Plus Services, a unique partnership with a collective strength in highways asset care from finance, through to design, build, maintenance as well as day to day operation.

As part of our 30-year remit to manage and improve the capital’s orbital motorway network, we deliver major improvement projects, such widening 38 miles of the M25, refurbishing tunnels and bridges, and installing hundreds of variable messaging signs and gantries, helping to maximise the use of the network and deliver more reliable journeys. We also manage the Dartford River crossing, and operate and maintain 440 kilometres of motorway providing our customer and road user with a world-class highway service.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Business improvement Analyst to assist the Business Improvement Advisor and Performance Manager in the development and management of the Business Improvement programme. This role will proactively engage with the business to implement Business Improvement Projects in line with business goals and objectives.  The business improvement co-ordinator will also keep up-to-date records on improvement opportunities and projects while providing efficient reporting to the business.



·         Excel knowledge

·         Good analytical and problem solving skills

·         Must demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and excellent attention to detail

·         Excellent organisational and time management skills

·         Work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team

·         Calm under pressure

·         Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the business

·         Full driver’s License

·         Flexibility to work across all sites as required

·         Commitment to great customer service standards

·         Experience of Project management

·         Ability to display and explain complex data in an engaging way

 

Desirable

·         Knowledge of ‘Lean’ (e.g Green Belt certification)

·         Presentation skills

·         Coaching skills

     Excellent IT skills, including: Mini tab, Visio, Microsoft project
