Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Twin Falls, ID Construction Management Group as a Construction Management Representative.

Major Function/Role:
Under direction, organizes field observation and monitoring of contractors' substantial compliance with contracts so that project quality, cost control and established completion schedule are met by contractor. NOTE: Incumbents do not supervise any contractor activities and are not responsible for job site safety.

Job Duties:

Facilitate weekly and pre-work meetings
Review, coordinate and track submittals
Perform construction quality assurance inspections and prepare reports
Review contractors work for compliance with contractors safety plan
Review and verify contractor pay estimates
Review contractor baseline schedule and monthly updates
Prepare independent cost estimates to verify change order pricing

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and four years related experience. With Associate's degree, twelve years of related experience. Without a degree, fourteen years related experience is required.

Special Skills:
Good mathematical, communications, analytical, computer and organizational skills.

Professional Registrations:
OSHA 30 Hour Training Certification preferred
CCM preferred
Certification may be required in areas applicable to work assignments and as required by clients.

Additional Requirements:
Experience with building construction management and quality assurance required. Prior construction experience on National park Service projects or other federal government projects involving rehabilitation/restoration of historical structures preferred. Experience with site utility infrastructure also required.
