Our skills include the expansive area of Architecture and Interior Design for which we are looking for candidates to join our design studios who are excited about working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Our portfolio comprises a broad range of project types, including hospitality, office, commercial, transport, residential, retail and regeneration and civic projects. Ranging from small heritage buildings to massive complex mixed-use projects and large scale master plans.

We are urgently seeking to recruit high-calibre staff to join our Architecture Department.

Design Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the production drawings . Coordination of concept design, schematic design, detail design, tender and construction documents.
2. Be an effective member of an Architectural team under the guidance of a Senior Architect, and proactively work with colleagues to prepare excellent design presentation information, including drawings and images.
3. Report to the Senior Architect for all production work and to aim for excellence in design quality and documentation, and match or better Atkins QA standards.
4. To conduct yourself professionally at all times.
5. Responsible for the correctness and accuracy of your drawing work, quality, layout and notes by checking oneself before review by the Senior Architect, as well as the coordination of drawings amongst the team and other disciplines.
6. To alert the Senior Architect or Associate/Directors when elements of the design or details are not working and offer solutions to these.
7. To show commitment to raising Atkins design standards.
8. To keep abreast of the latest software enhancements to increase productivity and to share this knowledge with ones colleagues.
9. To actively strive to improve your skills in design by looking for opportunities to further prove yourself whenever you see such opportunities arise. Always discuss and agree any such initiatives with the Senior Architect before proceeding.

Qualification/Requirements

1. Minimum B.Arch, M.Arch, B.Sc in Architecture, Diploma in Architecture (min 4 to 5 years of university study) and with more than 4 year post graduate experience.
2. Fluent written and spoken English
3. Knowledge of codes and regulations.
4. Knowledge of the following software is imperative: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit, Microstation, Rhino (preferable), 3D Studio/Vis, as well as MS Word, Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
