Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, Design and Engineering, Middle East & Africa, the Digital Lead is a full-time leadership role working closely with key digital stakeholders across business sectors and discipline leads.  The role will interface with other key stakeholders within the digital transformation program and driving day to day digital execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable Digital collaboration across the D&E
  • Enable Digital shift across D&E
  • Enable business sectors in adopting digital business processes
  • Deploy R&D product to the production team
  • Research and test new technology to enable faster deliveries for both design and engineering
  • Implement automation on project delivery
  • Implement design re-use on project delivery
  • Ability to manage outsource workflow and project production
  • Ability to create and administer a project Digital Execution Plan (BIM Execution Plan)
  • Ability to manage distribution and production of project workload within project team
  • Ability to review of project’s models multi-discipline coordination, supervise the proper implementation of project’s BIM standards and compliance with client’s design and information requirements
  • Lead project teams in Digital project setup
  • Lead Supply Chain BIM evaluation
  • Facilitate the development of the Design Delivery Schedule along with the client and other project stakeholders
    Facilitate design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize unnecessary work
  • Facilitate a comprehensive scope-of-work and contract document deliverables list for each related discipline and ensure no scope gap
  • Proficient use of Digital technology including file interoperability and information exchange processes
  • Evaluate and motivate designers on adoption of Digital design technology
    Participate in departmental strategic planning
  • Present and promote the use of Digital processes and technology in the Architecture and Engineering fields from Design through to Construction
  • Very strong demonstrated capability in the use of key Digital Engineering systems
  • Lead digital coordination for projects of all scales, liaising directly with all disciplines involved in the design process.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in technology leadership and management
  • A significant passion and resilience for digital transformation
  • Strong knowledge in BIM tools and Automation
