Responsibilities
-Assist project managers in the preparation of change orders, notices to proceed, requests for quotation, and other general correspondence.
-Assist project manager in the processing of payment requests, change orders, submittals, and Requests for Information (RFIs).
-Assist project manager with meeting minutes, project status update entries, and payment, change order, RFI, and submittal logs;
-Establish and maintain a project document filing system in accordance with procedures.
-Prepare reports in accordance with procedures and forms;
-Manage all documents for all projects.
-Enter and track following documents Submittals, RFI's, pending change order, change orders, and invoices that were reviewed and/or prepared by Cost Control Manager and Project Managers,
-Maintains all logs.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or related field
-Seven years relevant experience
-thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
-Construction Management experience in the Aviation industry, Large Programs/Projects, Port Authority of NY
and NJ, Terminals, Baggage Systems, Hydrant Fuel Systems and being in a site based Project Management Office.
