SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa, Florida Transportation Group as a Senior Roadway Project Manager.


MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Under direction, provides professional and project management expertise in the direction of highly unconventional projects requiring multiple technical units and/or subcontractors, heavy regulatory agency involvement or extremely complex technical requirements.

JOB DUTIES

• Performs the basic project functions of production coordination, planning, organizing, directing, controlling, financial management and marketing plan, direct and monitor all aspects of large multidiscipline projects or medium-sized projects with high degree of technical complexity and involving a large project staff.
• Establish client relationships and involvement with marketing, business development and strategic planning.
• Strong municipal and/or FDOT experience is highly desired.
• Conduct schematic and design development in conjunction with Project Managers, appropriate technical professionals and other disciplines.
• Coordinate staff workload throughout entire project.
• Opportunity to be a people-leader and manage staff. Functions as a mentor to project managers and technical professionals to assist in their training and development.
