We know that there's a lot to think about when you start a new job. To make it easier for you, we've dedicated this page on our website to providing the information you'll need to get started. We hope this information will make your transition to Atkins a smooth one!

To familiarize you with some of our employee benefits, this page on our website includes our Preferred Choice Booklet. Here you will find a brief description of insurance options from which you may select to customize your benefit coverage.

Since your benefits begin on the first day of the month following your hire date, you are encouraged to contact the Human Resources Department with any question you may have. We are more than willing to discuss the benefits process with you over the phone prior to your arrival if you prefer.

In order for eligible employees to enroll a dependent, documentation substantiating the relationship is required. The Preferred Choice Relationship Substantiation form describes the documentation required for each eligible relationship.

The following forms have been included here for your convenience. Prior to your start date, please review and complete these forms in the comfort of your home and bring them with you on your first day of employment.
Finally, the Immigration Reform and Control Act requires employers to verify the identity and employment authorization of all new employees by completing the Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, and obtaining the proper documentation from the employee.

Documents that you may present for verification of your identity and employment authorization are shown on the List of Acceptable Documents. Please complete Section 1 of the Form I-9 and bring with you one item from List A, OR one from List B AND one from List C. You must bring your original documents (or certified copies) with you on your first day of employment.
