Insights Ryanair Airside Green

Atkins provided full multi-disciplinary services, from concept design through to construction supervision for Ryanair’s new 10,700m2 six-storey office campus, Airside Green. The development, which sits alongside Ryanair’s existing head office at Airside Business Park near Dublin Airport, was designed by Atkins, a member of the AtkinsRéalis Group.

The role also included architecture, civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, landscape architecture, project management, fire, traffic and environmental engineering and health and safety. Faithful+Gould delivered cost consultancy services for the project, while Mac Group was appointed as the main contractor.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, The office development is part of Ryanair’s new generation of contemporary workspaces and was designed with sustainability in mind to near Zero Energy Building (nZEB) standards. This has seen the building achieving a Building Energy Rating of BER A3; evidenced in the provision of PV solar panels, electric vehicle charging points, ultra-low energy lighting, water-saving appliances, high-performance glazing and high levels of airtightness. The development also integrates a sustainable urban drainage system along with a natural riparian corridor that will support the site’s natural ecosystem.

Thomas Fowler, at Ryanair, said: “This iconic office development is an exciting addition to North Dublin’s global business district. The state-of-the-art six-storey Airside Green development provides spacious, inspiring, light-filled workspaces with panoramic views. Thanks to the technical expertise of their multidiscipline team, Atkins has provided us with a cutting-edge site, and it’s great to see it successfully completed.”
