Atkins seeks an energetic, motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter who is willing to learn, to join our Tampa, FL group as an Intern Architect. This is a temporary, part-time position.

Under supervision, applies knowledge and abilities to the architectural solution to design challenges and the coordination of related project activities. Primary project types include aviation, institutional, federal, and transportation markets.

Job Details:

Assignments have defined objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of variables. Duties generally include the following:

- Develops models and drawings to comply with construction and design budgets and schedules.

- Coordinates with other design disciplines involved, to produce design and construction documents.

- Develops computer aided renderings and animations.

- Follows office standards and quality assurance procedures.

- Tracks and reviews construction submittals.

- Performs administrative tasks associated with architecture

- Performs work under the direction of a registered architect.

- Conducts product research.

Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Revit preferably in a networked environment

- Knowledge of Studio 3D or other rendering and visualization software desired.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD optional.

- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Education:

High School degree with emphasis in Architecture via a STEM school or similar program with acceptance or enrollment in a NAAB Accredited Architectural degree program
