Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Planner to join the nuclear team in Oak Ridge, TN.
Job Description
Develops detailed task instructions for corrective and preventive maintenance, modification, and decontamination of facility systems, structures and components.
Coordinates with work requestors, Operations, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Nuclear Safety, Radiological Controls, ESH, Security, Waste Management and other internal and external functional areas to ensure work is performed and documented in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
Identifies orders, receives, and stores equipment, tools, and materials necessary to support planned work activities.
Coordinates with Work Package review and approval authorities to publish final Work Packages.
Maintains the Work Package filing system via hard copy of Work Packages and scanned electronic PDFs.
Supports the execution of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) guiding principles and core functions and the Isotek Safety Culture.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong communication, verbal and written skills.
Excellent organization skills.
Ability to interface at all levels of organization.
Education and Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ job-related experience.
Working knowledge of work control requirements and standards.
