We are currently looking for a Portfolio, Programme & Asset Management professional to grow our Portfolio & Programme Management pipeline across the South East Asia area. The role will be based in Singapore, and the successful candidate will be reporting to the Managing Director of Portfolio / Programme & Asset Management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Define the strategy and business plan for the Portfolio & Programme Management service line by working closely with the MD of Portfolio/Programme & Asset Management
  • Define the Portfolio & Programme Management service offering and sub-service offerings
  • Develop go to market strategy, approach and supporting material
  • Build a pipeline of Portfolio & Programme Management opportunities
  • Leverage existing network of clients and build new relationships within target market
  • Manage and grow existing accounts 
  • Represent Atkins Acuity in and speak at relevant seminars and conferences
  • Develop tools, processes and systems to support the growth of Portfolio & Programme Management pipeline
  • Develop and implement local marketing, sales, and public relations activities to foster positive customer relationships and maintain & expand the firm's participation in business opportunities
  • Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements to provide opportunities for the business
  • Maximize contact with key accounts, key contacts and other critical people at various client organisations and focus efforts to obtain new enquiries for the business
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence for new projects and opportunities
  • Ensure communication of customer needs and expectations between Atkins Acuity and the client
  • Ensure pre-qualification of the organization with existing and potential customers, enabling us to be in a position to bid for projects
  • Ensure that inquiries are screened, develop a sales strategy with the Business Leadership team, identify risks, and estimate profit potential
  • Provide inputs based on market information to enable the organization to develop capability in areas, which give us strategic leverage for future projects
  • Prepare input for weekly and monthly reports regarding sales wins, losses, pipeline, proposal activity and general business development activity
  • Ensure that future and current clients have a favourable and sufficiently detailed understanding of Atkins Acuity that they would advocate our services to others
Basic & Technical Competencies:
  • Shall be qualified with a degree (preferably Business Management or Civil Engineering)
  • A Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in Portfolio & Programme Management in a management consultancy / advisory services capacity
  • Experience in working for global strategy houses or international management consultancies
  • Experience in the infrastructure sector (Energy, water, transportation, urban development, municipal)
  • Experience working for an Engineering consultancy is a plus
  • The Candidate must possess excellent working knowledge of project management best practices. Computer literacy and excellent communication skills in English are essential. 
  • Excellent commercial and financial acumen related to project budgeting and cost estimation
