The office in Sweden is responsible for managing project execution, business development and sales in our allocated markets in the Nordic countries, as well as Sweden-financed projects abroad, presently in Iraq but also expanding to other countries. The mentioned EPC projects involve high voltage substations of different types.

Mission Statement:

Coordinate and support project team in cost-effective execution of Commissioning/Electrical-works related deliverables in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. Provide technical support and cost estimation for related activities to the proposal team during bid preparation and to the Project Manager during project execution.

Main Accountabilities:

Planning & Scheduling:

Prepare a detailed plan for Commissioning activities based on project requirement and by coordinating with the customer and site manager. Develops and follow time schedul of site activity in coordination with Site manager. Manage smooth commissioning of the project by coordinating between the different disciplines. Supervise and approve commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines.

Safety Risk Assessment:

Responsible for safety risk assessment at the site for smooth execution of commissioning activities. Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety, and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project. Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by LINXON personnel or by subcontractors) in case of OHS violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that LINXON employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.

Monitoring of Sub-contractor:

Monitoring of Substation Commissioning work progresses with sub-contractor on regular basis if any sub-contractor. Supervise and approve commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines. Review designs and supervise onsite commissioning activities and coordinate with Lead Engineer if any deviation in design identified.

Measurement & Certification:

Verification of sub-contractors or own team cost and timely invoicing to the customer to maintain project cash flow.

Change Management:

Provides inputs to site manager for any change/increase in scope of installation or commissioning work.

Progress Reporting:

Follow and report progress on site to back office.

Guidance & Coaching:

Provide guidance & coaching to the team in achieving the deliverable & meeting the customer requirement in the testing part of the project.

Required Qualification:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering-Electrical / Mechanical
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

Required Experience:

7-10 years. (4-5 years in AIS / GIS Substation / Power Plant projects)
